Mothering
Raising a child in today%u2019s world is a tremendously difficult task. Both mother and child will thrive when parents are responsive to the nuances and changes in their child%u2019s behavior.
It is important that mothers become comfortable without being complacent in their parenting styles and that they trust their mothering instincts. Too many people look at mothering by focusing on the negatives rather than the positives. Techniques used by prolific, successful experienced mothers have far more practical value than scientific research. Learning from other mothers and using what works is essential to being a good mother.
Attachment parenting is fundamentally important to child development. A strong attachment between mother and child allows the development of empathetic rapport so that mothers intuitively respond to their child%u2019s needs. A foundation of emotionally secure relationships during childhood leads an emotionally stable and well-adjusted adulthood. As the kids grow they internalize their parents%u2019 emotion towards them and develop an unwavering sense of their beliefs. Having felt intimacy from their parents since birth they will naturally develop healthy relationships with other people throughout their lives.
Mothers are extremely important to every aspect of the growth and development of babies. When you are mothering a child you are raising someone else future spouse or parent. How you parent serves as a model for how your kids will raise their parents in the future.

At The Growing Years, we believe that each child is an individual. Our commitment through the growing years of your child is to help them develop into all that they can be.
The childcare center enjoys a strong reputation in the community of providing quality childcare for children.
Our program aims to foster development in four major areas that we feel make a person whole: Social Skills, Cognitive Skills, Language Skills and Physical Skills. We do this by working closely with parents and children to ensure our program fits your child rather than your child fitting in to our program.

Philosophy
At Purple Circle, we aim to promote the interdependence of cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. Children learn about their world through their play. We respect and value children and encourage them as they learn with and about each other, and to grow increasingly independent. These acquired skills are the best preparation for elementary school, and are also a life-long asset.
