In 1967 a woman named Alice began a journey that would not only change her own life, but would also impact the lives of thousands of children during the years to come. In her heart, she knew that she could help families and provide a much-needed environment of Christian love and encouragement for children%u2014a %u201Chome away from home.%u201D It was a calling from God, destined to be answered. Thus Alice%u2019s Wonderland was born.

Today, you%u2019ll still find Alice and her husband David working hard to ensure that every child in their care receives the most positive and loving experience possible. In addition to her role as Executive Director, Alice holds the GOLD DIRECTOR'S CREDENTIAL and serves as a Christian Counselor to her church and to the parents and children of the Center.

In 2005, Sheila Simpson joined the Creative Learning Center as Director, bringing with her eighteen years of experience, numerous awards, and quality training. Alice%u2019s Wonderland is proud to employ a total of twenty-two professional and well-trained staff members, including two cooks, who cook and serve three nutritious meals and two snacks each day. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, and the dining room is comfortable%u2014providing a family atmosphere.

The Center%u2019s one-acre campus at the corner of 4th Street and Santa Fe in Moore, Oklahoma, houses the 7500 square foot building that provides ample space for well over 99 children that it's licensed for. Transportation is provided to and from local schools. The classrooms and the playground are monitored by closed-circuit video for added security. Staff members are CPR and First-Aid Certified. Alice%u2019s Wonderland is a licensed high-quality 2 star child-care facility, looking forward to becoming a 3 star Center.

Once upon a time, Alice had a dream%u2014a wish that lived in her heart. This dream came true. And this dream continues to live on.
