DCC is dedicated to delivering top quality education and care to the children of the St. Louis region. Our staff is committed to providing a safe, reliable, nurturing and challenging environment that develops the child physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.

The Center's daily schedule provides alternating active and quiet activities, appropriate transitions between activities, indoor and outdoor play, large and small motor activities, a balance between teacher-directed and child-initiated activities, individual and small group activities.

Where age appropriate, the classroom provides areas for block building, books, dramatic play, large motor activities, manipulative activities, art, music, science, math, sand/water play, woodworking, cooking and privacy. Health promotion and nutrition services are integral parts of all DCC programs.
