About Us

Social/Emotional

* We strive to help the children to:

Develop a unique and positive self image and pride in one's ethnic group as well as one's own sex;

Develop a caring attitude of others and an openness and appreciation of the different backgrounds of others

Express emotions and feelings in an open and constructive way as well as learn to cope with conflicts;

Become independent in one's everyday life;

Establish positive patterns of interaction and play cooperatively with other children

Physical

* Our Hope is to:

Protect and enhance the physical development of each child by providing a safe healthy environment and providing vigorous physical activities.

Improve the daily health habits of each child by providing comfortable meal settings, enjoyable routines of toileting, brushing teeth, etc.

Intellectual

* Our goals are to:

Provide an opportunity for all children to experience their world through all of their senses:

Keep alive the children's curiosity and desire to explore;
3.
Develop children's language skills appropriate to their age level;
4.
Develop and stimulate children's curiosity thinking process;
5.
To develop children's ability to conceptualize numbers and their number system as is appropriate to their age level

Creative

* We endeavor to:

Promote the children's ability to appreciate and express self through artistic and creative experiences of all kinds. Included in this category are music, dance, painting, dramatics, etc.
