About Us

Michael Domingue, Owner and Executive Director of The Growing Years, has been in the Early Childhood field for over 20 years. You will often hear our children refer to him as %u201CPapa D%u201D. A term of endearment which was added when his own grandchildren attended the center.

Miss Kitty serves as the Director of the childcare center and Miss Jill serves as the Program Administrator. They are committed to loving and respecting the families and children in their care on a daily basis. Between the two of them, they are the proud parents of 8 children.

We accept children ages 6 weeks through 10 years of age.

In 2006 we were awarded the Licensed Plus status from the State of New Hampshire, a new quality rating system supported by the NH Department of Health and Human Services for child care centers that exceed the basic licensing rules.

Our curriculum supports the development of young minds and bodies while offering practical and fun activities to enhance learning. We implement the NH Early Learning Guidelines as a basis in creating our daily schedule.

We are willing to make any necessary accommodations to maintain children of all abilities in our program, provided it is feasible within the classroom ratios and space that we offer. Children requiring one on one assistance may be accepted if an individual assistant is provided at the cost of the parent or state funded program. Children that qualify for intervention services may be picked up and returned to our facility by the designated transportation providers.
