We are currently enrolling children from 4 weeks to 5 years of age. Our normal hours of operation are from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

South Boise Child Care Center was established in 1969, by my mother Betty Flint. I worked along side my mother, caring for children until her passing in 1996, when I took over the childcare center. I have been fortunate to be able to hire mostly family members who share my love for children, and therefore have one of the lowest turnover rates in Boise. I feel this is very important for the kids to have that consistency at their daycare.

The Montessori Method is a special way of teaching children. Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, the philosophy believes that every child can learn and that each child deserves a learning environment tailored toward their needs. Children have the natural desire to learn and Montessori teaches that children can be both educated and challenged in a loving, supportive environment without depriving them of the joy of discovery.

The Montessori classroom uses concrete materials that are self-correcting and allow the children to learn at their own pace. These materials help the child to see, touch, feel, and freely explore their environments without the teacher's intervention. The Montessori teacher provides individual instruction within set guidelines. The children learn self respect, respect for others, and respect for their environment. Montessori methods and materials promote an inner discipline and self-motivation.

We are the largest music school in Cheyenne, Wyoming because we offer both group and private piano lessons in a fun, encouraging environment using state-of-the-art digital technology and the Harmony Road® music course for students 18 months through adult. Acoustic guitar lessons are offered for children age 10-12. Students will study from the excellent guitar method book "H.O.T. Hands on Training" by Nancy Lee Marsters. Introduce your 3-5½ year old child to a variety of unique learning experiences in a nurturing, exciting environment. Our elite preschool, offers standards driven curriculum, kindergarten preparation, creative arts, music, movement and coordination. A weekly Harmony Road® piano lesson is included.

Philosophy At Purple Circle, we aim to promote the interdependence of cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. Children learn about their world through their play. We respect and value children and encourage them as they learn with and about each other, and to grow increasingly independent. These acquired skills are the best preparation for elementary school, and are also a life-long asset.

Day Care for Exceptional Children is unique. For children from 6 weeks through 21 years old, physically, mentally, and behaviorally challenged, minimally or totally dependent - we assist, encourage, teach, and care every day. Our mission is to provide day care services to physically and mentally challenged children in order for them to remain in the family or home setting.
